Electric Toothbrush
We have found that patients who use an electric toothbrush experience easier cleanings. Electric toothbrushes have more brushstrokes per minute, meaning it does the work for you. They do a better job removing soft plaque and are good for areas of gum recession. Our favorite brands are Sonicare and Oral-B.
Toothpaste with Fluoride
As soon as a child is able to spit out toothpaste, it is time to use a fluoridated toothpaste. Fluoride in drinking water only benefits kids while teeth are forming.
